Born and raised in the Midwest, David worked two jobs in order to buy his first horse at a very young age. His excellent training and showing background throughout his life is extensive, competing at the All American Quarter Horse Congress and AQHA World Show. David Lawson burst onto the Northern California barrel racing scene a couple of years ago and quickly became the guy to beat. Training, showing and sales of barrel horses at various competition levels is the focus of David’s business. David also enjoys working with problem horses, starting novice horses and helping riders of all ages improve their horsemanship skills. Bio:
Tamar Raff brings many years of experience with horses to the Double Bar M Ranch, specializing in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Show Trail and Equitation at all levels of riding. She began riding at a very young age and apprenticed with Jan Bolds for many years. She likes to infuse dressage movements into all her riding instruction. Tamar has started all her own lesson horses and recognizes the importance of creating the best foundation for horse and rider. She loves the challenge of working with horses that have acquired undesirable behavior. Tamar offers several summer camps (tiny tots to advanced riders) and clinics. 
Annabelle is a Sonoma County native who has been riding for over twenty years and has trained and competed in a wide variety of disciplines. She has successfully competed in the Class A Arab and Saddlebred circuits. She has a background in 3-Day Eventing and has ridden and worked on the A-circuit Hunter/Jumper ring. She is also a long distance endurance competitor. Annabelle specializes in starting riders of all ages and working with riders who have fear issues. She has several safe, experienced lesson horses. Training and riding instruction is available to all breeds in hunter/jumper, dressage and endurance/trail. 
Valerie has a life long passion for horses and has competed at the international level in 3 day eventing in Europe. She is a certified instructor from France and believes in positive training. For the past seventeen years in the US, she has been very active in training and qualifying horses and riders at different levels for national and international competitions. She offers personalized training in a safe and fun environment for kids, teenagers and adults. She loves starting horses and working with young, challenging horses. She also has horses for sale and lease.
